BidDocs is transitioning from the current Legacy application to a New Enhanced application with more features and improved User experience.

What to expect as:

General: BidDocs Administration Application

All users will need to register in the new application.  The legacy registration is being phased out.  Click here to register. 

  1. Users can continue to access Bid Listings for FREE.  However, the new subscription model allows Users to have access to My Contacts, My Experience, My Archive, My Calendar, and Secure Stamp for a quicker, easier, and enhanced experience.  Click here to subscribe.

  2. Access to Client Archives will be linked to the Legacy application until February 2023.  Use your current Legacy login and password.

  3. All projects are automatically transferred to My Archive for future access and reference.

  4. Click on My Projects (left sidebar) to access and manage your projects.

Bidder:

Signature authorization forms are no longer required in the new application. Bidders can now create bid teams on a project to assist with the bid preparation. The bid checklist simplifies and streamlines the process. A subscription allows you to auto complete the bidder reference form on projects. Note: Active bid projects will be completed in the Legacy application, and you will have to use your Legacy login / signature authorization form.

Legacy BidDocs is now the new and enhanced BidDocs.

Bid Administrators:

You will have direct control over the bidding process to issue addenda and mark bid tabulations. The addenda are auto generated using the checklist interface. Note: BidDocs will no longer provide administrative reviews of the bid set documents.

Owners and Designers: Design Application

All SmartSpec (design) projects will be created in the new application. The enhanced features include a full complement of interchangeable project templates, file exchange, enhanced filed sub-bid interface and automatic transfer to bidding.

Owner, Designer and Contractor: Construction Application

Streamline and simplify the construction administration paperwork. The construction application generates the proposed change orders (PCOs), change orders, and requisitions for faster processing and payment. The application also automatically conforms the construction documents from bidding and streamlines project closeout using the checklist interface.

Note: The project creator will automatically be assigned Project Administrator (PA) role. The PA assigns the other principal roles to the management, design and construction teams. An unlimited number of Users can be assigned and access a project at no cost.
